— The exhibition was curated by Roberta Bernstein and included nine black and white photographs.
Photos and film excerpts were featured in a 3-minute video produced by the gallery.
— The exhibition was accompanied by a bilingual book publication (see below) with Martin’s interview, photos and film stills.

FIRST SHOWINGS:

  • Hanafuda/Jasper Johns premiered on December 16, 1981, as a benefit for the Collective for Living Cinema, New York, and was then shown on January 20, 1982, at Castelli Graphics, New York, at an event to launch their new gallery space.

  • Silkscreens was shown at The Kunstmuseum Basel, Switzerland, in the late 1970s.
